Payment gateway guides¶
Payment Made Easy includes 16 gateway drivers. Each driver shares the core payment API, but optional capabilities and provider-specific request fields vary. Use the guides below for setup, checkout flows, credentials, and important integration notes.

Capabilities reflect the interfaces implemented in this package, not automatic access to features in a provider account. Merchant approval, region, and credential permissions may still be required. Provider-specific methods can exist beyond the shared interfaces.
Check optional capabilities¶
Use GatewayCapabilities or instanceof before calling an optional contract. The complete interface list is in the shared API foundations.

Shared payment flow¶
The Payments guide covers initialization, redirect/client-side flows, verification, and refunds. Application amounts are generally expressed in major currency units; see Amount units and the individual provider guide for exceptions such as M-Pesa whole-KES requests or Mono Owo's provider-specific API.
