Seerbit

Seerbit provides hosted checkout plus additional card, mobile-money, subscription, payout, virtual-account, and dispute operations. Use Payment::driver('seerbit') or set PAYMENT_GATEWAY=seerbit.

Use credentials and the API base URL for the appropriate environment. Configure https://example.com/webhooks/payment-gateways/seerbit as the provider webhook URL.

All amounts are supplied in major units. The callback URL can also be set once through configuration.

Provider operations

The shared contracts include payment, subscription, virtual-account, dispute, balance, and disbursement interfaces. Seerbit-specific operations include card tokenization and charging, OTP validation, capture/cancel, mobile payments and network lookup, order creation, and advanced refund calls.

  • Use initializeMobilePayment() for a supported mobile-money flow and getMobileNetworks() to inspect available networks.
  • Card APIs handle sensitive card data: use only in the flow allowed by your PCI obligations, and prefer hosted checkout when appropriate.
  • A subscription plan or transfer is subject to Seerbit merchant/API access.

Webhooks

Configure the Seerbit endpoint as POST /webhooks/payment-gateways/seerbit and set the signing secret. Verify payment status server-side before fulfilling an order. Review webhook security and events.
